Troy Woodruff has been named district deputy commissioner of INDOT’s Vincennes District and Roland Fegan was appointed as the district construction director (this position was previously identified as the district construction engineer) for the Greenfield District.

Non-Residential Construction Value Jumped in August

In the September 9 – 15 issue of Data DIGest, AGC of America Chief Economist
Ken Simonson reports that, according to Reed Construction Data, the value of new non-residential construction contracts climbed in August, but still declined compared to a year ago. Stimulus-targeted markets saw the largest gain. The stimulus impact on building markets is not yet clear, although education, library/museum and government offices all posted gains.
