Wishard Hospital Going Green

Construction plans call for the $754 million facility to be one of the most advanced in energy efficiency and environmental design when it opens at the end of 2013. Overlooking the site of the new hospital from the roof of the Roudebush VA Medical Center, hospital officials and Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard talked about the environmental responsibility of the new campus. Planners hope to achieve Silver certification, the third-highest level on the U.S. Green Building Council's rating scale. Link
