Despite federal stimulus funding for road projects, Indianapolis area construction employment fell 18 percent, or 7,300 jobs, from January 2009 to this past January. Associated General Contractors of America said Indianapolis was among 313 of the top 337 metro areas to see a shrinkage of construction jobs in the past year. Link
