Indianapolis -- The city's bridges and roads that are in most dire need of repair are getting a federal boost. Mayor Greg Ballard announced Tuesday that Indianapolis will get $22.9 million in federal stimulus funding to pay for local projects. Rep. André Carson (D-IN07) was also on hand for the announcement. The projects will create about 550 jobs. The funding was awarded as part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009. Link
