SOUTH BEND -- The city of South Bend says it will invest $41 million in economic development and infrastructure this year as a result of the growth in its eight tax increment financing (TIF) districts. More than 60 percent of the TIF revenue is concentrated in the Airport Economic Development Area, which incorporates Ivy Tech Community College, Ignition Park and South Bend Regional Airport. Link
